Lend a Hand community garden project. We have recently launched our Community garden initiative where we are growing our own vegetables and fruits for the benefits for the local community. We started by hiring our very own cabbage patch trainer & supervisor Sandra Pullman.
The project started early May:
Tested the soil for any dangerous or nasty metals, thankfully we got the all clear from the lab. The vegetable beds are now built, we even made sure that we have allowed for wheel chair appropriate access.
The next job is to cart the freshly delivered organic soil and nutrient into the beds in preparation for planting. We can then move forward with planting: We will keep you posted as the project become fully grown.
